To be the leading professional hunting authority in the Northern Territory of Australia. Realising the professional hunting potential of the NT to the benefit of all stakeholders and the community, in an appropriate and sustainable manner.

Aims

The aim of the Northern Territory Professional Hunters Association is to:

• Represent and serve the interests of it's members
• Promote professionalism of outfitters in the Northern Territory
• To promote the benefits of professional hunting to the conservation of wildlife

Code of Conduct

Recognising my responsibilities to the wildlife, habitat and future generations, I pledge:

• To conduct myself in the field so as to make a positive contribution to the protection of sustainable wildlife and ecosystems.
• To promote hunting by fair chase, in pursuit of trophies in a sportsmanlike manner, without trapping, herding, driving or chasing of trophies with the use of mechanically powered equipment.
• Abide by and actively promote ethical standards and compliance with statutory laws of the land.
• To demonstrate abiding respect for game, habitat and property where I am privileged to hunt, and to reflect in word and behavior only credit upon the fraternity of sportsmen.
• The safety and welfare of clients and public is paramount, and the delivery of customer service crucial to meet client expectations.
• Truth in advertising in all media and contact with clients. A member will refrain from public or personal criticism of another member business.
